I agree that the visuals were gorgeous. I still think KStew is just sooo awkward, but bless her heart, that&#39;s part of what I came to the theater to see. I wonder if she&#39;ll change up her portrayal of Bella as a vampire. I&#39;m really curious to see if she makes visibly different acting choices, or if vampire-Bella will be mostly a special effect. Obviously BD is my least favorite book (Stephenie Meyer went way off the rails on that one) but I thought that Bill Condon did a very good job with the material he had to work with, and the film was beautifully shot. There were scenes that I knew were filler (because they needed enough to cut it into two parts to make more money), but even with those scenes I really enjoyed it. I had to explain some of it to Alan, and in that regards the movie doesn&#39;t stand on its own (like how Edward was trying to tire Bella out on the island so that she wouldn&#39;t be able to stay awake to have sex with him). AND, KStew is growing on me.
